With a background in jazz composition and performance, I attended the Berklee College of Music in 2010 where I graduated cum laude with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production and was awarded the school’s Achievement Scholarship Award.
Since beginning my journey as a mixing engineer in 2013, I've garnered a widespread and dedicated client base of artists from all genres and stages of their careers. I have presented at The Berklee College of Music, TEDx Beacon Street, the Mmmmaven School, IO Music Acadamy, and the Night Vision Music Academy about professional audio, mixing, and sound design. I spent 2014 - 2019 as the in-house engineer for Grammy-winning producer Sharam Tayebi (of Deep Dish fame) before setting up shop in LA in 2020. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I taught online courses for IO Music Academy on professional audio and music production.
In addition to my audio work, I currently serve as an A&R and label manager for Insomniac Music Group, running the Factory 93 and Dreamstate labels and helping artists workshop their music.
My approach to mixing and mastering draws on years of experience with a wide range of genres and styles. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach, and every song should be treated like a blank canvas. Regardless of what I’m working on, my primary goal in each session is to blend the warm, inviting tone of analog equipment with the clarity and punch provided by digital processing to achieve the best of both worlds.
